Karen Schulze

Karen is a Senior Consultant with Aligned Leadership Group and owner of Performance Technology Systems, a boutique consulting practice in metro Atlanta. For more than twenty years, Karen has worked with Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies, as well as non-profit organizations to design innovative, relevant, technology-driven and blended learning solutions. Karen contributes her expertise in instructional design, learning technologies, and content development to engage and develop talent in the fields of leadership, sales, technology and education.

Passionate about learning and the transformative power of effective leadership, Karen teams with business sponsors, executive coaches, SMEs, IT specialists, video production, animation and graphic artists, gaming, social media and website professionals to produce powerful learning experiences aligned to mission critical business needs.

Karen’s clients have included IBM, GE, Cisco, S1 Financial, & The Coca-Cola Company.

Karen’s recent projects include a learning solution to increase engagement and accountability in the airline services industry and a series of Change Leadership solutions designed to accelerate large scale change and the transition to Agile at a global networking organization.

Karen’s prior corporate experience includes instructional design and project management roles at a large financial services software company and the professional development association for life insurance industry professionals. Karen transitioned into the field of training and development after a seven year career as a Series 7 licensed Investment Advisor for a large brokerage company and a nationwide banking institution where she specialized in educational seminars for clients and colleagues.

A recent empty-nester, Karen enjoys walks with her eskie, Ellie, the theatre and has recently caught Pickle Ball fever! She resides in metro Atlanta with her husband, Bob.
